Comment Counts Under Thumbnail Images
Two weeks ago, we released comment counts under thumbnail images to Beta Testers. Today, the feature has been rolled out to everyone. We believe that this feature adds more context to the experience of viewing artwork on deviantART. You'll now find comment counts underneath the thumbnails of deviations -- they can be seen when browsing or searching art, and also display in your Message Center. We've fixed some of the issues you brought up last time, but there's still plenty to do. We've also been working on a lot of details that didn't come up in the feedback. It's a big list, so get ready!

Sta.sh now supports keyboard shortcuts! Hit up, down, left, right, and hit the Delete/Backspace key to remove any selected items. Hold the Shift key as you move around with the arrow-keys to select a bunch of files at once! - Added by $kouiskas

At deviantART, we have spent the past 11 years building a place where artists can share and discuss their work and get inspired by the work of their contemporaries. A noble cause, for certain, but we would like to be so much more to our beloved community of brilliant creatives. Starting today, deviantART will also be a means of inspiration in an entirely new way with financial support for art.
On 3 month cycles, deviantART will accept applications from artists seeking to fund art-related projects. A panel called the Creative Grants Board will pick those projects that they believe will benefit particularly from a Grant and give those artists the support they need to make it happen. The lucky few who are chosen to receive Grants will also be given a beautiful accolade on their deviantART Profile Page to celebrate their succes

Top Level Domain (TLD) is the technical name for ".com," ".net," ".org," or ".fr". These TLDs are controlled and issued by a worldwide organization called ICANN, short for the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers. When ICANN announced that it would accept applications for new TLDs, deviantART quickly realized that someone would try to nab ".art."

"When deviants submit artwork drawn in deviantART muro, they have the option to post their work as a Redraw, or as the original image. For many users, this was preventing them from viewing the full artwork when they couldn't or didn't want to watch the video. As of today, that problem has been fixed! A "Watch Redraw" button has been added to deviations that have redraw enabled, so that when a user opens a redraw deviation, they will be met with the completed artwork first, and can then choose to watch the redraw."

How do I JUST get a picture? Not a video with all the changes? Its actually really annoying and I'm also not a fan of Muro anymore, I used to love it :/
