Wish that it was also for Sketchbook on Amazon, rip. I already have pro, and I love it! Just wish that I could do this, lol.

How do I access these challenges? I can't find an option to look and do them in the app or a page on DA that tells me how to do it.

Had the app for 1 year now, have never found the challenges. I think it's because I use a tablet rather than a phone. So I'm not always on the internet.

This seems pretty cool! I've already been using that app (for those who are doubtful, I may not be good but Autodesk is waaaayyy easier for me to understand than the ten or twelve others I tried. And it's on Android.), I digress.

I'm slightly off though, how exactly do I join in? Is it something that I just need to keep track of posts or anything? :3 Thanks for any help!

What works for some doesn't always work for others, but I'd like to see your list of better apps, while I don't think Sketchbook is perfect it is pretty nice to work in.

So I am genuinely curious to hear your thoughts on these other apps and what they bring to the table, my next killer app might be on that list, so please share.

I think ibis paint, paint took sai, fire alpaca, krita, medibang pro, tayasui sketches, Gimp, Adobe Photoshop, adobe illustrator, and procreate are all better than Sketchbook, just to name a few. Most of these have free versions available as well, or are free to begin with, and are much better than the free version and maybe even the full version. Just my opinion, these are much more versatile and easy to use than Sketchbook. And yes, I've most if not all of these. ;)

Are any of these similar to Sketchbook? I only went with SB because it was what I had on my kindle, and when I got a real tablet I wanted to stick with what I knew. Everyone I know has Sai or FireAlpaca...they keep telling me to switch but I only just got acquainted with SB v.v;

I'm new to Digital art and am more or less learning things by myself...are any of these suggestions one that might be least frustrating to transfer over to for a beginner that has only ever known Sketchbook?

v.v;

I would HIGHLY recommend ibis paint for beginners. It's relatively easy to use and it's free. You can watch ads to unlock brushes or pay 2.99 for the full version, which comes with more than 100 unique brushes! Sai is also good too, though I wouldn't recommend it to beginners. I use paint tool sai and ibis paint the most out of all of these. Ibis paint is exclusive to mobile users, I think

Unfortunately the challenges are only available for the mobile versions not desktop, i have it on my phone but that's waaay to small compared to my computer screen.

I´ll be trying something tonight to see if i can have the app version working with my computer or @ least on a bigger screen than my phone wish me luck.

It works on my Nexus tablet.

If you have any kind of tablet, you should only need a cheap stylus or even your finger; you don't need an Apple pen or an iPad.  :)

Auuuuuuugghhhhh mine doesn't work! It's linked up to deviantart so I can submit it directly there if I want or whatever but the app it first had me download is not the exact same as what's shown there now. I WANT to do some of the challenges but apparently the Autodesk Sketchbook on my computer isn't able to let me so now I have to try downloading this version on my phone as well. It's just so frustrating!!

Siiiighhh, at least the new one I downloaded seems to be working right. Which means I can start doing those challenges soon. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy!!!

Is this available on Kindle Fires?

I got the full four dollar app, but it only has the option to post to deviant art. NO SketchThis option that I can find. :( Can I not do it?
