Keeping busy! ...

After another day of meeting new friends, +ekud is currently trying to give $spyed and me a lesson on how to properly pronounce Maccas (aka the Australian way to reference McDonald's). $spyed and I have been practicing since yesterday, but are slow learners. We're apparently very American in that we keep saying 'mackers' instead. We've also learned that if you order lemonade at a restaurant, you'll end up with Sprite and a lemon. If you want actual lemonade, you should ask for lemon squash.

Today started out with a call from +ekud informing us that he'd arrived from Melbourne and was ready for srs bsns. No rest for the weary, shortly after his arrival +ekud, $spyed, and I were off to a meeting with Ric, one of Wacom's Asia-Pacific team members. We had an excellent lunch at the Sydney Fish Market, where the seagulls were relentless in their quest for a lunch of their own, and talked for hours about all things Wacom, deviantART, and depthCORE.



After the meeting and saying goodbye to Ric, we took a walk around the Opera House and Botanical Garderns in preperation for tomorrow's deviantMEET. There's a bit of excitement and anticipation in that we don't have a clear idea in regards to how many deviants will show up. It could be 30 or 300, we don't really know. What we do know is that it'll be a fun, casual event full of people who love deviantART. Represent! Word.
